Creative Arts & Writing is a special PTA program that encourages kids to express their creativity through various art forms.  

Unfortunately, we don’t have a volunteer for the 2023-24 school year so this program can’t happen until we find someone. Could that someone be you?!

General responsibilities include:

• Find key people to help with various parts of the program; such as:
• Subcommittee chair for each category (art, music, writing); Sub-chairs find judges for each category (consider using judges from Campolindo and Miramonte Clubs - Photography, Choir, Art, etc)
• Publicity person
• Intake day coordinator
• Publicize the event:
• Video production class includes CAW announcements in the morning announcements
• Visit 6th grade CORE classes, perhaps with assistance from JM Leadership students 
• Publicize in the PTA news and on Facebook/Instagram
• JM secretary will update JM website and send out School Loop emails to students and parents, as well as to teachers via “School Messenger”
• Enter all submissions into a spreadsheet after intake is complete
• After judging is completed, enter all winning entries in the master spreadsheet
• Set up the library with the art, writing, and music for the Awards Ceremony; Ask the Principal or the Vice-Principal to emcee the Ceremony
